exceptional, educational artist's tours
Stellar Arts Foundation is an educational and charitable non-profit organization based in Coupeville, on Washington State's beautiful Whidbey Island. Formed in 2000, the foundation is a manifestation of Coupeville’s robust arts community.
The Stellar Arts Foundation conducts and provides exceptional, educational Adventure Artist’s Tours. Our purpose is to develop and improve the participating artists’ capabilities and knowledge and to provide inspiration through experience.
We emphasize a unique adventure by providing quality art instruction, while exposing artists to the culture and natural beauty of the country visited, to continuously inspire the artist. This process celebrates and enhances the learning experience of the artists while providing support to children in these countries.
The Foundation generates funds through the following, designed for, and related to the purpose, activities:
sharing with the less fortunate, uniting peoples, preserving traditions ...
education and art pave the way
The foundation's planned activities this year are geared toward supporting children and their families in the village of Barzitsa, Bulgaria. Many of the Roma children could not attend school because their family can not pay the cost of transportation and school books. This prevents the children of obtaining their education which leads to unemployment and poverty. We are happy to report that one of these children is graduating this year.
